Stephen S. Schultz : Principal
Graduate of Bentley College (BSA); Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, Georgia and Arizona. Steve held executive positions including CFO and COO in several mid-sized companies from 1969-2002 which were involved in high technology, manufacturing, distribution, software development and professional services. Steve has been involved in all aspects of corporate management including the development and implementation of custom developed information technology systems.
Steve had been engaged by an internationally known medical institution to assist in the successful implementation of a widely used online specialty consultation application. Steve's consulting projects have included: Interim CFO for a manufacturing company concluding with the successful sale to an industry leader; investigation of fraud and the conclusion of a gambling venture; investigation and working closely with law enforcement in the misappropriation of funds of a non-profit; performed financial analysis and operational projections for a manufacturer in Chapter 11; negotiated settlements with numerous creditors in out-of-court proceedings; consulted to a fabricator and successfully facilitated negotiations with the IRS to reduce penalties and allow the company to continue in existence and obtain much needed financing.
Steve is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
